Story-Bloom won there first  BIG Dipper Championship since 1995 as they beat crete on friday night at Rich South at the 39th Big Dipper. 


 Crete beat bloom 3 times last year.But this night the Blazing Trojans got there first in what for them will be 3 pay back as they will met crete 2 more times this year all in conferance play.   Bloom  had full command in this game as they did to crete and evetbody else in the Dipper they force you to play they style of game. Ball control and man to man hard noise defense. and took crete out there game. 

  
  Donald Moore who was named M.V.P of the Dipper was the man reason why they won it. His steadly  point guard guard play not turing the ball over and his quickness on defense may it tough on the other teams point guards. Moore did a excellent job on Illinois bound in Michacel Orris held him in check.He only score gand total of 6 points Moore finsihed with 14  points.LaQuon Treadwell try to keep crete in with his 14 points 10 in the second half.They cut the lead to 50-45 with just over a mintute left to play in the game.The Warriors will not score again.

Rich South beat Seton Acedemy in the 3rd place game  70-62    

John Ruffin led Rich South with 17 points and 14 rebounds and was named All Tournment team for his efforts.  Records  Rich South  13-4  Seton Academy 13 -2 lossing 2 straight.    

Hales beat Thornton 61 -52   Records Hales 6-6 Thornton 4-8 

Bolingbrook wins the consolation bracket beating Evanston 

Marian Catholic beat Rich East  71-59 Tyler Ullis led everbody with 30 points  Marian 7-5 the Rockets 5-10 

Rich Central wins the Sportsmenship award.

  Donald Moore is the best point guard in the South Subirds.Yes Tyler Ullis from Marian Cathloic is a good but he is only a sophmore and have more room to grow and Michacel Orris is  very very good but moore has something that you can't teach heat and speed.
